
Roberto Martin is a Web Developer and Journalist who believes that the future of media and information is online.
He graduated in September 2010 from Humber College with a Post-Graduate in Web Development. Since 2007, he has learned about design, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, PHP, XML, Flash, ActionScript, JavaScript, SQL, MySQL and Oracle.
In the past, he completed a Bachelor in Journalism in Spain where he worked as a reporter and editor in different media, especially newspapers. For six years, he reported on politics, arts, health and technology.
His experience includes online newspapers and companies where he designed, produced and wrote multimedia content for the user.
Roberto believes in technology as a way to spread knowledge in our societies and make lives easier and more productive. He is very interested in social networks, their impact on web traffic and their use for reporting news and sharing information.
As a way to make websites easy and dynamic for companies, Roberto enjoys learning about Content Management Systems (CMS), like Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla, online tools like Google Analytics, search engines and SEO.
He never stops learning about information architecture for the World Wide Web, online copywriting, privacy and security for the user.
