This course is created in partnership with the IAB (Interactive Bureau of Advertising Canada) and successful completion means the students gain a certification in Digital Marketing. It focuses on Social Media Marketing, and is designed to simplify and demonstrate the many new channels of marketing, advertising and communication that make up the Social Media and Web 2.0 space. Students will learn about Online Social Networks, Consumer Generated Content, Blogs/Microblogs, Social Applications, Gaming, and Social Media on Wireless- and more importantly, how to leverage these marketing channels strategically and creatively successfully.
