The course offers an introduction to Social Media (SM) architecture and technologies including a survey of the available types and apps. Students gain fundamental competency with digital media production while specializing in content production and distribution via social media. Students learn to tell engaging stories with images, create and maintain blogs including enhanced and uploaded photos, produce and publish video and audio content for podcasts, and evaluate the efficacy of their blog.
