The ability to manage special events effectively is critical to success in public relations. In this course students will develop their analytical and creative thinking skills. During this course students will develop the basic skills required to plan internal and external events. Topics include: ROI, request for proposals (RFP) & proposals, feasibility studies, crisis management, leadership, event production, budgeting, media relations and protocol. To successfully complete the course students are required to volunteer for and assist in the execution of a corporate special event or fundraiser.
