So it came as no surprise to anyone when Elvira announced at a very young age that she would one day become a `news person`. Elvira stayed true to her word and spent the majority of her nearly 30 year career in a newsroom, starting off as a News Reporter for the Toronto Sun and moved in to radio journalism where she worked for various Ontario radio stations under every imaginable genre from classic rock to country to dance to talk.
Paul Cross has an enduring passion for Radio.
His on-air career spans four decades, as a newscaster, reporter, music host, talk show host and documentary maker. His in-depth news and public affairs programs have been recognized on multiple occasions by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters and the New York International Festivals. Ben Edwards is an award-winning producer with CBC.
Over the past 5 years, he has worked on the corporation’s flagship programs, such as ‘As It Happens’, ‘The Current’, ‘Metro Morning’, ‘The Sunday Edition with Michael Enright’, and is currently a full-time producer on the arts and culture program ‘Q’.
From a very early age he has considered audio something that he holds dear.
He went into the Radio pathway at Humber with the intent of coming out as a Radio Producer. He’s now working as a part time producer for the Corus stations in Toronto and is the show producer for the Fresh Top 20.
Adam is one of the production managers of Orbyt Media. He has worked at Orbyt Media since 1998.

Neil loves radio. He built his own radio station in the basement as a kid just so he could play songs and talk on the air.

Dean has over 30 years of front-line radio experience across Canada including 15 as a senior manager. He has won industry awards for programming.
In addition to teaching and managing Radio Humber, Dean consults radio stations across Canada focusing on CRTC matters, station start-ups, infrastructure and strategy.
So, who is Wayne Williams? Is he the guy who as a high school student went to sleep every night with his transistor radio under his pillow? (yes, I said transistor!)
The guy who, on his birthday received a tape recorder every year for three consecutive years so he could tape his favourite tunes off of the radio? “Forgive me,” I didn’t have enough money to purchase all of that great music! Is he the guy who always wants to win, is passionate about everything he does and loves radio? Yes, that’s me!
Marcia Young is the host of World Report on CBC Radio One. Marcia has worked as a reporter and anchor in television for CBC Saskatchewan and City TV.
Marcia also produces and hosts radio features on a diverse range of human interest stories, from the human impact of Hurricane Sandy to the 50th anniversary of Jamaican independence and the politics of hair, to emotional intelligence.
