Our Program

Design is all around us, in the built environment we navigate, the financial and social services we access, the products we consume, the processes we use to do our jobs. Design is also driving innovative solutions to the planet’s most pressing and urgent problems. There has never been a more exciting or relevant time to be a designer.

Humber’s Bachelor of Design program responds to the increasing demand for designers who are prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century by keeping the concept of human-centeredness as the grounding and unifying principle upon which the program is built, with a focus on how design thinking can be harnessed for social change, to improve daily experiences, and to make processes and interfaces (human and digital) more user-focused.
